Photonics & RF Research

The Photonics & RF Research Lab has an applied orientation and is a relevant player in the field of integrated photonics in Spain. Formed by more than 20 researchers including seniors and students, it stands out for the quality of its scientific work in the following fields:

• Subwavelength metamaterials for photonic integrated circuits
• Photonic sensors and biosensors for 'in vitro' diagnostics
• Fiber optics communications for telecom and datacom
